Ocean Universal is a dive shop in Westcourt, Cairns, more information Far North Queensland. They stock spearfishing gear, scuba diving equipment, and freediving gear.
It used to trade as Spearfishing Superstore. The rebrand happened after the range grew beyond spearfishing alone. Spearfishing is still a big part of what they sell, but the store now also carries scuba regulators, BCDs, dive computers, freediving fins, wetsuits, stinger suits, masks, and snorkelling equipment.
The staff have been at it for more than 25 years. They pick for FNQ conditions, so it holds up on the Great Barrier Reef and Cairns dive sites.
